However, the Russia-born fighter will be facing his toughest challenge yet against the undefeated 14-0-0 Sharabutdin Magomedov. But it surely won’t be an easy task to face an undefeated star when one has already tasted defeat in his career. And the Armenian-Russian has tasted it multiple times in his pro-MMA career so far. But to whom did Armen Petrosyan lose? Let’s find out!

How many times has Armen Petrosyan lost?

Although the two were booked to face at UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Lewis back in 2023, Petrostan pulled out after falling ill backstage during the event. As a result, the duo were booked to face off in 2024 at UFC Fight Night 236 on February 10. However, Petrosyan lost the fight after Vieira caught him in an arm-triangle choke with seconds remaining in the first round. With just 12 seconds remaining, the Armenian-Russian fighter tapped out.

Armen Petrosyan’s overall MMA record and stats

With eight wins under his belt, ‘Superman’ has been a promising prospect in the Dana White-led promotion. With five wins coming through KO and TKO’s, Petrosyan would be looking forward to honing his striking skills further under the tutelage of striking coach Artem Leven in the American top team.
