Remember that eye-catching Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph Aryna Sabalenka sported after her 2024 US Open win? It practically stole the spotlight! The rainbow-colored watch went viral, perfectly complementing her purple match dress and her glamorous red champion’s gown. The watch was a result of her partnership with Audemars Piguet (celebrating their 150th year in 2025). How could she not show it off once again?
Audemars Piguet is the venerable Swiss watchmaker born in 1875, known now for crafting ultra-luxe and high-end timepieces. To honor their legacy and journey of 150 years, the brand hosted an elaborate dinner, and needless to say, Aryna Sabalenka was attending. She wasn’t alone, however. Georgios Frangulis, her boyfriend, graced the event too and apparently, he couldn’t take his eyes off her.
At the event, Sabalenka dressed in a pencil gray tapered suit with a black tie and black heels. To top it off, the world no. 1 donned an iconic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Mini. Inspired by the 1997 Mini Oak, this 23 mm timepiece is available in 18-carat yellow, white, or pink gold, each adorned with a distinctive Frosted Gold finish that adds a subtle shimmer to its surface. Sabalenka went with the 18-carat yellow, of course, to compliment her outfit.
To honor its 150-year legacy, Audemars Piguet is celebrating the only way it knows how—by pushing the boundaries of horology. The latest masterpiece, the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked ref. 26585XT, is a striking addition to its prestigious catalog, embodying the brand’s commitment to innovation and timeless craftsmanship.
Frangulis took to Sabalenka’s Instagram comments to further show his support for his girlfriend. He wrote, “AP for life ”. AP is short for Audemars Piguet, of course, and Frangulis seems like he is in love with their watches as much as he is in love with Sabalenka herself.

Last year, when Aryna Sabalenka signed a partnership with the brand, joining the brand’s exclusive circle of ambassadors, standing alongside GRAMMY-winning and -nominated artists like John Mayer and Travis Scott. In the tennis world, she follows the trail blazed by Serena Williams, who partnered with AP in 2014.
Aryna Sabalenka shared her excitement about her new partnership by giving her 2.3 million Instagram followers a behind-the-scenes tour of Audemars Piguet’s headquarters in Le Brassus. Her visit included a glimpse into the brand’s museum and atelier, where she witnessed watchmakers hand-assembling intricate timepieces, showcasing the brand’s long and rich history of watchmaking. “So excited and honored to join the Audemars Piguet family,” Sabalenka shared on Instagram Reels. “Thank you for showing me around your beautiful grounds in Switzerland.”
Since her round of 16 exit at the Dubai Tennis Championships, the Belarusian star has been very active off the court. So much so that she backed WTA and Saudi’s partnership recently.
Aryna Sabalenka backs WTA’s rebranding and Saudi investment as key to tennis growth
World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has thrown her support behind the WTA’s bold new rebranding initiative, praising its commitment to showcasing player personalities and expanding the sport’s global footprint. Speaking at a WTA-hosted cocktail party in Hollywood, the reigning Australian Open champion emphasized the importance of the tour’s fresh identity, which includes a striking new logo and the tagline “Rally the World.”
“It means a lot. We needed this refreshing moment for so long,” Sabalenka told Reuters, expressing optimism that the initiative would elevate women’s tennis. “It’s a big move, and I hope it’s going to help our sport to get better.”
The WTA’s revamped image coincides with a surge in global viewership and record-breaking prize money, highlighted by Coco Gauff’s historic $4.8 million payout for winning the WTA Finals in Riyadh—an event backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Despite past hesitations from the WTA regarding Saudi partnerships, the tour has now embraced the multi-year deal with PIF, signaling a new era of financial backing and expansion. Sabalenka also acknowledged the significance of Saudi Arabia’s growing role in women’s tennis. “I’ve been there a lot, and they have a passion for sport. Their help means a lot for us,” Sabalenka said. “Their support is very important for the WTA. I think all of us will be very grateful for their support.”
With this rebranding effort and a substantial financial boost, the WTA is poised for a transformative era—one where star power, storytelling, and financial backing align to elevate women’s tennis to unprecedented levels.
