Holger Rune, who is in desperate search of a good result on the ATP tour before the US Open, hasn’t got luck on his side yet. The youngster, who is facing Nuno Borges in Round of 32 at the Cincinnati Masters, clinched the first set 6-3 before asking for medical assistance.
The match was interrupted and the on-site doctor came to visit the Dane, checked his blood pressure as Rune looks a tad bit worrisome of his condition. From the looks of it, Rune appears to have suffered a heat stroke and how he manages to tackle this situation despite winning the first set becomes crucial now.

Having resumed the match after getting his blood pressure and sugar levels checked, Rune looked weary and it’s advantage Nuno Borges for now. If Borges can manage to take the second off, another top-seed upset is very well on cards today at the Cincinnati Open.
