The New York Giants 26-18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers has the head coach Brian Daboll questioning his roster. Daniel Jones had the chance of making something out of nothing, but was picked off in the fleeting seconds of the game. The Giants head coach didn’t look enthusiastic throughout the game and the loss turned those looks even sourer.
Linebacker Bobby Okereke did his best when he recovered the Russell Wilson fumble and gave New York the ball in the Steelers territory. But the Giants were headed in for a disappointment as TJ Watt overpowered Daniel Jones, stripped him, and recovered the fumble. That didn’t sit well with Brian Daboll and he had the O-Line to blame for it.
The Giants HC took the podium after the game and called out his O-Line for not chipping TJ Watt before the strip sack. Per him, the team had some “communication issues” that weren’t sorted out in due time. Greg Johnson, the Giants reporter uploaded a snippet of the presser and Brian Daboll looks to be short of words.
Brian Daboll doesn’t offer any commentary on Daniel Jones’ play on the last two drives other than the Giants needed to maintain possession of the ball. Also said T.J. Watt was supposed to be chipped before the strip sack. pic.twitter.com/kNe2WGMuzq

The video on X titled, “Brian Daboll doesn’t offer any commentary on Daniel Jones’ play on the last two drives other than the Giants needed to maintain possession of the ball. Also said T.J. Watt was supposed to be chipped before the strip sack,” says it all.
