Deiondra Sanders Joins Brother Deion Jr. to Seek Shares From Coach Prime’s $600K Fortune, Dragging Shedeur & Shilo Into It

Deion Sanders is an individual with many personas. He’s a slightly altered version of himself depending on what aspect of his life he’s traversing. Now you’re aware of Coach Prime- the almost transcendent figure who’s changed the course of Colorado football. Then, you’re also aware of the stand-up father persona who’s raised some great young adults whether that’s in the sports realm or outside. But have you heard of Santa Prime? That may be the new one off the conveyor belt.

With Christmas around the corner, parents have begun setting aside funds to treat their kids to some gifts. That isn’t really a concern for Deion Sanders. He’s probably got a bank balance that reads more like a phone number. But a little cream on top never hurts, especially when it’s a well deserved reward for your efforts in bringing a flailing program to life. So naturally, his kids are preparing their wish-lists after catching wind of Prime’s bonus incentives.

As per USA Today’s Steve Berkowitz, Coach prime has garnered a total of $600,000 in bonuses this season. This includes a $100,000 bonus for leading the Buffs to their 9th win this season against Oklahoma State. Deion Sanders Jr. quote tweeted Berkowitz’s post announcing this. He said “Look, y’all” and tagged his siblings Shedeur, Shilo and Deiondra.

Deiondra responded to her brother’s post with a post of her own, which read, 👀 @DeionSanders Christmas should be great 😬🙌.” The cheeky and buoyant nature of this interaction highlights the head coach’s relationship with his kids. Maybe he’d have hoped to keep matters under wraps till at least after the festive season, but there is one special person who’s bound to get showered with presents.

This Christmas is extra special for the Sanders clan. It shall be the first for Deiondra’s son Snow, who was born earlier this year. Grandpa Prime will definitely go out of his way to show some love. However, knowing his relationship with his kids, he’ll probably just avoid over-the-top materialistic presents.

Deion Sanders has previously thwarted the existence of any such bonuses

This interaction isn’t the first time Deion Sanders’ bonuses have caught the attention of his kids. About a fortnight earlier, Deion was said to have breached the $400,000 mark in bonuses after Colorado achieved their 7th win. It was stated that Deion will rake in an additional $100,000 for every win till the end of the season. Since Deion’s contract is public, the stipulation was not a matter of confidentiality.

Yet, Prime actually denied this at the time. He tweeted to convey that the figure being thrown around was false. This actually invoked a rather funny post from Deion Jr. He probed Colorado’s athletic director Rick George, asking whether the figures were true or not in a tweet of his own. Of course, Rick George didn’t reply.

Well, the number’s only soared since. With just one more game left, the ballpark figure is now apparent. Let the wishlists run rampant. Deion’s going to want a piece of Shedeur’s impending NFL contract in return for himself!
