Gabrielle Union Backs Doechii as Her Alleged Wardrobe Slip Becomes the Buzz of Paris Fashion Week

Gabrielle Union is a girl’s girl! The Bring It On actress dazzled at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. Talk about a walking masterpiece! For the night, she wore a black Carolina Herrera Fall 2025 dress. She is just a diva! And it is not just because of her fashion sense but because of how she stands up for other women and doesn’t shy away from praising them. That’s exactly what she did for famed rapper Doechii.

The Anxiety fame turned into a fashion queen for Paris Fashion Week. From Chloé to Le Grand Dîner du Louvre, she mesmerized the crowd with each of her fits. One of her most glamorous and controversial looks was the one that she wore for the Schiaparelli show in Paris. She wore a brilliant white denim gown, and the bustier in the middle added even more to its grace. Doechii paired her fit with golden hoop earrings and Schiaparelli mules.

Perfect! But soon, it started a buzz on social media for the wrong reason. Many believed that a slight slip during a photoshoot was a wardrobe malfunction. It could be a lighting issue or just fashion. Other netizens were clearly upset with the assumptions. Regardless, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that Doechii annihilated every show with every look and that to with grace! Dwyane Wade’s wife, Union, had a reaction similar to most of the fans out there.

Amidst all the chaos on X, Union took to her IG story and wrote, “Someone come resuscitate me.” That was most of us. The rapper’s unique fashion and how she carried it had everyone’s jaws dropped, and the Bring It On actress felt the same. No wonder, she decided to post it.

For Le Grand Dîner du Louvre, Doechii wore the most stunning Valentino yellow gown. Gorgeous silver embellishments adorned the gown. Styled by her longtime stylist Sam Woolf, her hair for Paris Fashion Week was done by Malcolm Marquez. Someone clearly rocked this PFW, and Union had to give the credit.

Gabrielle Union turned heads at the Schiaparelli Paris Fashion Week Couture Show

In January, the actress made an appearance at Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2025 runway show. And she soon made the headlines with her awe-inspiring fit. She wore a sculptural form-fitting black gown that had sheer panels. She had earlier paired it with a black blazer-style jacket. However, she ditched it later during the photo session.

But the real head-turner feature of her look was her hairstyle. A short pixie to pair with the black was brilliant. Less couldn’t be expected from the actress who owns the hair care brand Flawless with her longtime hairstylist Larry Sims. Every time Union makes a red carpet appearance, she just raises the bar even higher. Her makeup was done by Ngozi Edeme.

“Easy breezy beautiful skin reunited with my forever fave @gabunion for @schiaparelli,” Edeme captioned the Instagram post that featured Union’s look. Even for the Academy Awards night, she had a unique look. The golden floral appliqués on her black gown in a cascading spiral pattern just added more glamour. It has only been a month since the collection came out. This is queen move!
