After being seen limping yesterday, Simone Biles powered through the pain and helped Team USA win Gold by almost 6 points. 23-time Olympic Gold medalist, Michael Phelps was in the stands witnessing the performance. Not just former Olympian, but former NFL star Jason Kelce pulled up to witness the women’s gymnastics team final. People who couldn’t watch from the stadium but surely were enamored by the display were Lisa Leslie, A’ja Wilson, and more took to social media to share the excitement.
Biles became the most decorated U.S. Olympian gymnast in history with 8 medals. 5 of them have been gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze medals. Paige Bueckers stated what everybody was feeling after seeing the performance, “I’m in awe. These ladies are amazing. Goated, all of them! To think I can’t even do a cartwheel!”

Lisa Leslie shared, “I’m not crying… you’re crying! Congratulations to the women of @USAGym Outstanding.” A’ja Wilson was particularly impressed by Biles’ performance and expressed her feelings through a gif which meant doing something perfectly. Later writing, “LEFT NO CRUMBS!! NONE!“
