Joe Rogan Reveals “Violence Against Trans People” Pushed Steve-O’s Controversial Decision on Bizarre Breast Implants

Steve-O, known for his risky and sometimes controversial acts on the show ‘Jack*ss,’ revealed that he intended to undergo temporary breast implant surgery to record a series of hidden camera scenes for his upcoming U.S. tour, “The Super Dummy Tour.” The plan was to temporarily transform his look to that of a woman and fool groups of men on the street. Yes, you heard that right. Even UFC CEO Dana White admitted his surprise at Steve-O’s plans.

However, within hours of the commencement of the operation, the anesthesiologist refused to perform the procedure. This started a chain of events that eventually led to the prank being canceled. But what led it to be canceled? Well, the answer to the question has been provided by Joe Rogan in his #2205 edition of the Joe Rogan Experience.

On his podcast, Rogan sat down with comics Big Jay Oakerson, Luis J. Gomez, and Dave Smith and talked about breast implants among other things. That is when Rogan took out an article to reveal why Steve-O decided to cancel the prank. The JRE host admitted, “The person in the supermarket spoke to Steve-O about the level of oppression that trans people face in a pretty heartbreaking way, which made him realize, “Wow, maybe it’s not all fun and games.” After this, he feared a stunt would seem like an exercise in celebrating violence against trans people, and he decided to call it off.”

This was originally revealed in an interview with Consequence. He revealed that after the anesthesiologist canceled, Steve-O ran into a trans person in a store. During a casual conversation, he mentioned his plan to get breast implants. This led to a discussion about the impact of his joke.

The comedian commented that the trans person explained to him that the part where he would deliberately go out and deceive people into believing that he was a woman and then celebrate the idea of hatred towards trans people was not right. This comment, along with a more detailed description of the difficulties trans people face in their daily lives, made him reconsider his joke. But this wasn’t the first time that Steve-O was taking things too far for a joke.

Steve-O gets attacked by a female fighter

Steve-O previously joined the UFC commentator as a guest in episode #1900 of The JRE podcast. In the podcast, they talked about some serious MMA grappling moves. Notably, they focused on the move popularly known as the crucifix. A move that Steve O is way too familiar with. While discussing the move, the Jack*ss star revealed the story of when Holly Holm attacked Steve-O. He said, “She (Holly Holm) took my arms away from me and showed me what she could do.”

An incident that truly amazed Rogan, as he couldn’t fathom being in the same position as Steve-O’s. He pointed out, “If a girl did that to me, I’d be like, so upset. I’d be like ‘I need to learn how to fight.’ F*ck this. That’s so humiliating.” The move is a truly painful one. Dominant grapplers such as Khabib Nurmagomedov often used this technique from their arsenal to make their opponents tap out. However, during those situations, the opponents are fellow UFC fighters. So one can only imagine how Steve-O might’ve felt. What do you think? Would you survive the crucifix? Let us know in the comments.
