“(Kim Mulkey) Was Lowkey Mad”: Flau’jae Johnson’s TikTok Joke on Coach Lands LSU Starlet in Big Trouble

There is nothing quite like chilling during the off-season at a picturesque location while enjoying your favorite funny social media trends. Similarly, the Louisiana State University Lady Tigers during their off-season had the best of times in Croatia and Greece. The student-athletes got a chance to enjoy their 10-day study vacation at beautiful locations until a prank on their head coach, Kim Mulkey, got out of hand and landed Flau’jae Johnson in trouble.

Johnson was present on her podcast Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae on Friday when she revealed Mulkey’s reaction after the famous ‘Give me my money’ prank. Johnson opined that though Mulkey was laughing throughout the video, she got a little mad at her after which it became an awkward moment for her.

“And we went viral in Greece. We did the give me my money challenge with coach Mulkey. It was the funniest thing ever, bro. We tried to do it on my, my assistant, our assistant coach, coach Starkey but he be on TikTok. He the oldest man that I know be on TikTok. But, I knew coach Mulkey would fall for it. She don’t do social media. It was the funniest thing that ever. She went viral. She was lowkey mad. She told me I wasn’t gonna play now since I did that trend on her. So, Coach Mulkey, I’m sorry,” Johnson said, via Best of Both Worlds with Flau’jae.

This was a study abroad program for the LSU Lady Tigers stars and hence, Johnson was accompanied by Mulkey, Aneesah Morrow, and Amani Bartlett. The trip had stops in Split, Dubrovnik, Athens, and Santorini. The program gave them an opportunity to learn the history of different countries and reflect on their culture and social dynamics, as per LSU Sports. But like how every trip is incomplete without fun, this too had its fair share of pranks.

In the video posted by Johnson, she can be seen on a cruise boat along with her head coach, Morrow, Wilson, and Bartlett. The four girls can be seen saying ‘Give me my money’ one by one as the others cheered and clapped for them. But, when it came to Mulkey, all the girls stayed shut and Mulkey became the lone goat in the prank. Though she was seen laughing about it at that time, Johnson revealed that she was also low-key mad about it. Meanwhile, Johnson also revealed about her time abroad.

Flau’jae Johnson is glad to be back in America

Johnson revealed that in contrast to fans’ expectations, this was not a vacation trip. Instead, the athletes had gone there for a study abroad program. One of the most breathtaking moments would have been when the Lady Tigers got a chance to see Dubrovnik where they took a walking tour. Dubrovnik is popular for being featured in the Game of Thrones franchise. Hence, they must have had a lot of fun.

However, Johnson ended her anecdote before saying that she was glad to be back in America. One person who must have been missed on the trip would be Angel Reese, who is now playing in the WNBA. Fans wish the program had organized a trip with her.

Hopefully, a fuming Mulkey would be relaxed by now. And perhaps, she won’t mind Johnson doing another such trick to gain a bit of social media following.
