What’s the best way to silence your critics? Well, whatever you think, it can’t be better than Lamine Yamal. There were a lot of questions over the teenager’s place in Spain’s playing XI with the youngster still hunting for his first goal before the semifinal clash against France. Well, Yamal’s performance should have silenced all his critics with the player helping his team bag a 2-1 win over the Les Blues.
Apart from critics who had been vocal about Yamal’s lack of goals, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot had also commented on the youngster claiming Les Blues would not make it easy for him to make it to the finals. The Frenchman stated, “It will be up to us to put the pressure on him above all, not to let him feel comfortable and to show him that to play in a Euro final, he will have to do much more than what he has done so far.”
Well, Yamal had the perfect answer to Rabiot’s comments as the Spanish starlet dribbled past the midfielder to smash the leveler for his team. Following the game, Yamal might have had a few words for the veteran as well as he was seen shouting, “Speak now! Speak now!” while looking at the camera.
