Till a week back, Marcus Freeman and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish might have just focused on one person when it came to their preparation to fight against Georgia Bulldogs. Even though more than a week is left for the January 1 kickoff, Freeman has changed their prep plan. “We’ll prepare for anything,” Freeman said while praising Stockton’s skills and acknowledging the tough matchup ahead. The focus is primarily on Kirby Smart’s quarterback Gunner Stockton. After all, Georgia is now pinning all their hopes on him after their other QB Carson Beck is done for the season after a bad injury.
