We are in the final week of the NFL 2024-25 regular season, and what a crazy ride it has been! From intense games to playful moments turned into meme material, fans witnessed it all. Speaking of memes, a few teams and personalities likely come to mind, but nothing tops Jerry Jones and his squad. You must remember the AT&T Stadium controversy (when CeeDee Lamb requested curtains at the stadium because the sun blocked his touchdown). Anyway, this time, the Cowboys squad has stirred up another issue ahead of hosting the Commanders on their home turf.
The Cowboys have managed to stir up some fivefold trouble this time. Wondering who’s been causing all the drama Don’t worry, we’ve got the answers. Jerry Jones’ squad went head-to-head with the Eagles in Week 16, where Nick Sirianni’s guys handed them a crushing 41-7 loss. Embarrassing? Maybe not so much for Dallas since they’d already kissed their season goodbye. But while the Eagles were dominating on the field, a few of Jerry’s players decided to cause some trouble that the refs weren’t about to let slide. In Week 17, five Cowboys players landed on the game rules violations list. (Well, at least they’re making it onto some list.)
Well, these guys will have to pay a hefty amount to be on that list. Topping it is DE Osa Odighizuwa. The 26-year-old will pay $16,883 for roughing the passer (late hit) during the third quarter of the game. Catching up to their DE are offensive guard Tyler Smith and offensive tackle Terence Steele, both fined $11,817 each. Woah! That’s a lot of money. Both Tyler and Terence will pay for the unnecessary roughness on the gridiron. Honestly, guys, what’s all the aggression for? The list doesn’t end here.
The team’s cornerback, Troy Pride, got hit with a five-thousand-dollar fine for an unnecessary hit during the 4th quarter of the game. Alongside him, WR Jalen Brooks also got fined the same amount for the same reason. Well, playing the season’s week 17 game turned out to be quite expensive.
Jerry Jones’s team is all set to host the Commanders
Jerry Jones‘ squad, after paying a huge amount in fines, is also set to play their last game of the season. After this, they can rest up and sleep on their disappointing season. For the final game, the Cowboys will be hosting the Commanders at AT&T Stadium. We hope the sun won’t be a problem for any of the teams, especially CeeDee Lamb. Jayden Daniels-led Commanders have made it to the postseason with 11 wins in their column.

The young rookie has made quite a splash with his performance. Daniels has also been invited to the Pro Bowl. Woah! That’s quite an achievement. In sixteen games so far, the 24-year-old has racked up 3,530 yards and has twenty-five TDs to his name. And let’s be real, it’s not bad for a rookie season. Hopefully, he’ll be putting up more solid numbers in the future. For now, the Commanders’ QB is all focused on the playoffs. The Commanders will try to win this last one. For the Cowboys, it’s just another game. The finale’s coming up in a few hours, so grab your popcorn and drinks and settle in for another game at Jerry Jones’ place.
