“We’re obviously very concerned.” Steve Kerr was rightfully worried about De’Anthony Melton’s health after he sprained his ACL during the Mavs game last week. Well, this is Melton’s first year in the Bay Area and he has become an integral part of Kerr’s rotation in a very short span. But we have not seen him on the court since the injury as he has missed two straight games. And the latest update on the veteran guard’s health will only increase tensions in the Warriors camp as Kerr’s biggest fear has come true.
As per veteran insider Shams Charania, Melton’s season has come to an early end as he will undergo surgery to repair his ACL. Sure enough, that’s devastating news for the $12 million star as he was looking in decent form to start the season.
