Christian Pulisic’s brace helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side to a comfortable 5-2 aggregate victory over Jamaica, following the 1-0 victory in Kingston. Pulisic also became the fastest USMNT player to 50 goal contributions. While speaking in a post-match interview, teammate Yunus Musah couldn’t help but troll the ‘Lebron James of Soccer’.
“Hey man, Lucky Goal, eh?” said a jubilant Musah, as Pulisic scored his 2nd goal courtesy of a deflection of defender Richard King, which went past goalkeeper Andre Blake. “The 2nd goal, I wish I got a goal like that man!” added Musah, before heading over to his teammates who were in full celebration mode, and rightfully so!

Despite, the light tease, there is no denying that the former Chelsea man is in solid form this season. “It was an amazing performance, We came out really hot, obviously. It was nice to get the first goal and early goal, and we built off that. I thought the first half was really strong … We should definitely feel good after these results.” added the AC-Milan star.
Jamaica did fight back with 2 goals from Demarai Gray, but it wasn’t enough for the Reggae Boyz. With Pulisic and Co. looking unstoppable at the moment, things are finally turning around for Pochettino’s men as they look forward to the long international break and have until March to prepare.
